That’s a wrap on submissions! The Call for Speakers for PowerShell Summit 2027 is now closed, and our content team is rolling up its sleeves to read every single proposal. Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit. The response from the community was fantastic.
By the numbers
The community showed up in a big way:
- 277 community session proposals submitted
- From 83 unique speakers
- To fill approximately 50 session slots
That math tells the story: with more than five proposals for every available slot, the content committee has a genuinely tough, and enviable, job ahead. And the finish was dramatic. Over half of all submissions arrived in the final week of the Call for Speakers, with most of those landing in the last two days. (A gentle nudge for next year: the reviewers love an early submission!)
What happens now
Every proposal goes through a blind evaluation process. Reviewers see the content of your session, not your name, so each pitch is judged on its own merits: clarity, relevance to the audience, and the value it brings to attendees. It’s careful work, and it takes time, which is exactly why we do it.
We received sessions spanning the full breadth of the community, including:
- PowerShell Core & Windows PowerShell
- Azure & Cloud Automation
- DevOps Pipelines & CI/CD
- Infrastructure as Code
- Security & Compliance Automation
- Cross-Platform Scripting
- Module Development & Publishing
- Testing & Quality Assurance
When you’ll hear more
We’ll be announcing selected speakers and sessions on a rolling basis, so check back often for updates. Mark your calendar for the big one:
The full schedule will be released on November 1, 2026.
In the meantime, the best way to stay in the loop is to subscribe to our newsletter, follow us on Bluesky, and join the conversation on Discord.
